As announced by the Deputy Minister of Education, the beginning of the school year has now been delayed by two weeks. This is all for safety reasons.
Our learners are now to return to school from 15 February. The educators will start on 1 February while the Senior Management Team is to report on the original date, 25 January.
Due to the revised school calendar, the Management Team will communicate to the Brettonwood Community the new dates of return for our different grades after the first meeting on 25 January. Parents and learners will learn of the relevant date of return for their Grade as soon as the Management Team has mapped up a new plan for Brettonwood. We therefore urge all our learners not to report on the days that were previously communicated in our End of Year Newsletter.
As discussed in our last parents meeting, we will still run a rotational Timetable, slightly differently, at the beginning of the year. However, this does not apply to our Grade 12 learners who will be reporting to school everyday, starting from 15 February.
As mentioned above, details of specific dates of return and other relevant information will be communicated after 25 January. This is in order to allow the Management Team to re-group and formulate a new plan where necessary.
May we all continue to follow all Covid 19 Safey Protocols at all times. This is the only way to keep us safe.
May God bless our School.
