Brettonwood mourns the loss of Thabiso Dladla.

The principal, management, and staff of Brettonwood High School would like to extend their condolences to the family of Thabiso Dladla, who passed away on 27 May 2019.  Thabiso entered Brettonwood in 2017 as a shy, polite Grade 8 learner and throughout the years here, grew into the embodiment of what it means to be a learner at this school.  He was a respectful, intelligent, loving and strong individual.  He shared many of the core values that we stand for at Brettonwood High and quickly became friends with a small group, who stuck together. Despite having a core group of friends, he was always friendly to everyone he met and always had a smile ready for those he came in contact with.  Our school creed reads, ‘I refuse to be ordinary, I will respect my educators, and serve my community with pride and honour.’ That is surely what he did.  He wore his uniform with pride and honour and gave the utmost respect not just to the teachers, but to his classmates and schoolmates as well. Thabiso, your smile, humour, sunny disposition and willingness to help everyone will be missed. May his soul rest in peace.

Rest in Peace Thabiso (5 December 2003- 27 May 2019)
