Please note that there will be an urgent meeting to address academic/exam issues of your child/ward on Saturday, 19 October 2019. This will take place just after the Annual General Meeting which starts at 09h00. The meeting is to help the learner obtain his/her best results.

2019 PRIZE GIVING CEREMONY

Our 54th Annual Prize Giving Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, 15 October 2019 at 10h00. All parents / guardians are welcome to attend as we celebrate our Matric class of 2019.

As is our tradition, Grade 8 and 9 learners are exempted from attending the Ceremony in order to accommodate our visitors. We urge all parents / guardians of Grade 8 and 9 learners to ensure that the day is utilised productively.

Final exams start in the first week of November and therefore learners have to stay focused.

Normal school resumes on Wednesday, 16 October.

Interclass competition 2019

Brettonwood High School recently held an interclass competition. Soccer in the seniors was won by 12B, while the in the juniors was won by 9B. Basketball for females was won by 9E while in the males category was won by 11D. Netball in the juniors was won by 9A while the seniors was won by 10A.

Inter-house Competition 2019

Brettonwood High School recently held an inter-house competition that saw learners competing in field and athletics events. The Lions won the competition by 153 points followed by the Tigers (148), Jaguars (101) and in fourth position was the Leopards qith 41 points.

Heritage Day Celebrations

Brettonwood High School recently held Heritage Day Celebrations with learners showcasing their dance, poetry and singing skills on stage at the school’s hall.

AGRICULTURE SCIENCE GRADE 12 – FINAL PUSH

Please be advised that revision lessons will be held by Mr. Mensah together with two (2) lead educators.

TIME               :           08h30 to 15h00

It is compulsory for all Agriculture Science learners to attend.  All your notes, past papers and other study material should be brought to this lesson.   Please make transport arrangements for your child/ward.   Learners are to bring their own packed lunch/snacks.

MATRIC 2019 LEGACY

Dear Parents/Guardian

MATRIC 2019 LEGACY

As per school tradition, the Grade 12 learners of each year leave a legacy that they will be remembered for after they have matriculated.

The 2019 Matric learners have decided to donate a printed banner with the School Creed for display in the school hall.

To achieve this, a contribution of R20.00 per learner is required by Tuesday, 15 October 2019
